I cook every meal I eat, but I’m not really picky about knives. As long as it’s sharp and it cuts my veggies and meat with ease I’m happy. This makes sure my knives stay sharp. I can’t compare it to something professionals would use, but it’s easy to use and it’s not ruining my knives.

In this economy, you have to look for ways to save money when feeding all of these people. I stock up on whole chickens and large cuts of beef and pork ….when they are on sale. With good sharp knives, you can butcher chickens into pieces, cut beef into roasts, steaks, cubes, strips and cut your own pork roasts and chops and trim off extra fat.
As Ron Popeil says, “I can cut a hole in the wall (to make a bigger house for all of these people) and still slice a tomato”.
As previous reviews stated, practice on old knives to get comfortable with sharpener. But, it’s really very easy!
