I was expecting a plain black screen. I was thrilled when it arrived it was black with copper to help bring out the third dimension. The screen seems to be very well built, and heavy enough that it will be sturdy standing in front of the fire place when we decide to actually use it. The copper really brings out the details. I chose this screen because of the non-geometric design of the plants/flowers to soften a the hard book of the red brick. It is good sized so it easily fits in front of the whole fireplace. Very happy with this item and it will be wonderful for years to come I am sure.

This is three pieces that are all hinges together. The details are Beal with the leaves and flowers. It’s not too heavy. It has sort of a distressed finish with the silver under the black. Very classy and timeless.
