I can roll my chair which I could not before on that heavy pile carpet. I read a previous review that said put it in a hot tub of water to be able to unroll it. That did the trick, I don’t think a hair dryer would have ever worked. I took it out of the tub then laid it flat on the tile floor, used some weights to finish the job. I am also a 300 lb man and this mat has stood up to the test.

The mat is was a large size (48″ x 58″). Itcame rolled up in the box.It was a little hard to straighten it out but we laid a few heavy objects on it for a little while then, the hot southern sun took care of the rest.It flattened out in a very short time. Once it was flattened we brought it into the house.We positioned it under the deskand the grippers held it tightly in place.
I did not have any problem with it scooting around when I rolled my chair wheels off to reach the file drawer. The wheels of the chair went back over the edge very easily without pulling up the mat when I turned around to go back to my desk.I thought the mat was a little pricey but I would not change it.It works so well on my medium pile carpet in my home office! Well worth the price to me.

Perfect for under the chair purchased from Wayfair (Avenger Series high backed office chair). Makes rolling the chair much easier than having the wheels on bare carpet. No cracks after a few years of use. Definitely satisfied with this purchase.

I was a little concerned about how well this mat would do on our carpet since we have thick carpet padding under our short pile carpet, but it works great. The mat is very sturdy and my husband has no problem rolled his heavy chair around and doesn’t have any indentations even after sitting for hours for work (or gaming). The ‘teeth’ grabbers underneath work well on our carpet and the mat size is just right. It was a chore to get it unrolled and then stay flat, but nothing some heavy books, the gaming chair and the corner desk leg couldn’t overcome in a day.

Purchased 3 of these for our office. They came rolled up. After laying them out for a day, we were able to put them to use. They don’t dent, and look classy. Will purchase more to replace the older ones in the office as we “retire” them.

Heavy mat.Stays in place.Does not indent from chair casters which is sat in 8+ hours per day.When purchasing a chair mat pay particular attention to details such as what you are placing mat on, dimensions, etc.As you will read in reviews, mat comes rolled up so you must follow directions to get it to lay flat.As instructed, our mat conformed in about 24 hours but we gave it 48 hours just to ensure it was nice and flat.Very happy with purchase.

Some said it was hard to unroll but we put it into a bath tub of warm water for 10 minutes and it laid perfect. This mat stays in place and it really is premium quality. Would recommend to anyone if you want to save the wear on your carpet. It looks good and it is staying in place good.
