Nice finish, good weight, simple design, great for everyday use.Your description is off though. The 45 pieces include 8 five-piece place settings plus a five- piece serving set and not “18 Sugar Spoons, 9 Butter Knifes, 18 Meat Forks” as your description suggests.I knew this was incorrect before I ordered it and had assumed that it was a standard set of cutlery which it is. Happy with my purchase. Not impressed with the cost though, no savings here, could have bought the same set at Bed Bath and Beyond for less than the equivalent CDN price and they’re always overpriced. Easier to shop from home though so not a deal breaker.

Love these…just ordered another set of 8 to be ready for Thanksgiving (have had service for 16 for years now, still look like new). Great weight and feel to them, especially love that the knife sits on the blade.

My husband got one set for his 20-year work anniversary. Only because I picked it out of a catalog. Service for 8 was not enough so I bought another set. It’s really nice. Our old set was heavily weighted in the handles and would fall off your plate when you tried to carry it. This set does not do that except for the occasional knife because they are weighted to stand upright. They look really nice when you set the table.
