this is great – I use it for decaf when others are drinking regular coffee.Keeps the heat for a long time and it very attractive.

Aside from keeping coffee or tea hot, I plan to use it to keep gravy warm as suggested by Cooksillustrated.I especially like the final test where they filled the carafes with hot seafood stock leaving them to sit overnight. When the carafes were washed none of the carafes held on to the fishy, savory smell.This was the winner in the cooksillustrated thermal carafe test.
The tag was in Japanese, but a translation Appl came handy.

Like the style, and easy release top— if you have arthritis this is great because no need to unscrew the top.I would have given it a 5 star rating, however, it doesn’t keep the coffee hot for very long, unlike the Corning Ware carafe I had long ago.
