The 5-Layer Wire Shelving Unit is made of heavy wire shelving and sturdy poles. There were plastic clamps to place on the poles that secure the shelves in place when sliding them down onto them. The unit was easy and quick to put together and perfect for the supplies I needed to organize and store.

Does the job! Its a little wobbly but my husband stuck a peice of cardboard under the affected leg and it is fine now. I just wish the wire was a little more heavy duty. I use it as a plant shelf and cant put certain pots on it as it makes it bow. Other than that, its fine.

These units are great. They are VERY sturdy. You can buy additional shelves for this brand and while they are a bit pricey, that’s the only way to get 6 shelves so you end up with 12.5 inches between each shelf plus a shelf on the very top which is perfect for things like paper towels and big packs of toilet paper and many types of the sterlite storage boxes. Just seems like the perfect height. The additional shelf includes clips. These are great for in closets so you can pull the unit out and get to stuff behind it or move it around in a room. I got two other brands of shelf that were cheaper but not as sturdy. I’ll pay the extra $$ and stick with Seville. TIP: To keep the clips from flying off when you’re putting it together, use a small piece of black electrical tape along the BOTTOM of each clip to hold it in place until you get the shelf over all 4 clips. Then remove the tape and push or use a rubber hammer to seat the shelf securely.

Pay close attention to the dimensions.It is exactly as advertised, but the picture makes it look bigger.The 21″ width was perfect for my needs, and once put together, the structure is solid. I would say it will serve well for medium loads. (I use it for storage boxes with pictures, games, and exercise equipment. It’s perfect for linens, too. I purchased 2 to organize our attic space and to get everything off the floor. Very happy with the quality, the double box packaging, and as always, the speed of Wayfair delivery!
