To set the clock, insert 1 AA battery (not included) according to the polarity inside the battery compartment. Rotate the adjustment knob to set the correct time. Damage may occur to clock hands if they are moved manually to set time.
Do not mount directly in sunlight, near a heat source or near a large body of water as these situations could affect proper temperature readings. Mount securely and protected from wind to prevent against any damage from being knocked off the mounting screw and falling to the ground. Ultraviolet light from sunlight can prematurely weather the product if placed in direct sunlight.
