I’m really impressed with this desk. It took awhile to put together but the directions were very clear. It also won’t be too bad to move because the top can be unscrewed so both sides can be moved separately. There is a lot of storage room. The only downside was my drawer isn’t lined up perfectly. I would suggest paying extra attention during this step while screwing. I’m using it as a vanity and it’s perfect for my needs.

All the compartments allow me to reduce clutter on the desktop, but everything is still easily accessible.As a result, even though the desk is fairly small scale, it is still very functional.
The only design issues I have are with the drawer.Once assembled, the drawer slides do not allow the drawer to be removed.Also, I was hoping to install 90 degree tip out hinges on the drawer front, so I could use it as a keyboard / drawing tablet tray.The drawer is not deep enough to accommodate any tip out hinges I know of, and the default location of the cams that hold the drawer together does not make it a snap to turn the existing drawer into a tray.(The drawer sides and bottom attach to the drawer front, but not to each other — check out the installation PDF.)However, since that is not an intended use for the drawer, it feels mean to knock a star off for that.It’s just a bit of a disappointment.
Packaging — the corners of the box were crushed in transit, but the contents were unharmed.The ends of the box were well protected with foam and strong corrugated cardboard.I worried about this because in the past, buyers both here and on Amazon complained of shipping damage.I was careful to avoid scratching the surfaces during assembly and have a cutting mat on the desk surface to protect it.
Assembly — it took 2 hrs 20 minutes to assemble by myself, not including the time it took to open the well-sealed box, and carry all the parts upstairs.I do not recommend trying to move the box by yourself — just open it where ever it is delivered and carry the parts a few at a time to wherever the desk will be installed.

Very nice piece. Sturdy, easy to assemble and very functional. Instructions were super easy to follow- I put it together in two hours.I added a piece of glass to help keep the top clean. I am an artist, painter , hot glue using crafter who knows how quickly paint and glue damage a table. For 80 I purchased a piece of glass to keep the top looking good. Side bonus is I slide pics that inspire me under the glass. I love this desk and I’m sure I’ll have it for many years to come.

I was torn between giving this 4 or 5 stars. I’m giving it a 5 because it’s beautiful and fits a lot of my craft stuff so overall I’m super happy with it. Not to mention the Handy assembly service I used was great! My reason for thinking about giving it 4 stars is when I was moving it, the middle part was dipping/bending because the side, or “legs”, were being moved (I hope that makes sense). So with this, I was worried the middle part would dip over time so I’ve been cautious about putting too much weight on it, but so far it’s been fine. You just have to make sure the “legs” don’t go outward and stay at a concise 90 degree angle. Again, great desk, holds a lot!
