Sadly all the non toxic chemical free beds from Wayfair were sold out at my time of purchase.
I like the bed. I just don’t like that formaldehyde cancerous substance are used in the making/finishing of the bed.
It did not contain chemical odor but I wiped it down with essential oils.
I think it’s a strong bed for a child but not safe chemical wise.
Unfortunately I didn’t pay attention to the warning prior to purchase

This bed is really very nice! My daughter is ecstatic for this upgrade. I even offered to trade her but no deal there. It’s definitely solid and well made. No box spring needed either! Slat system on bottom made setup a breeze. I can’t believe how fast it delivered and was packed up perfectly!

This bed is what I was looking for to complete by bedroom. The right color, size, easy to assemble. I would just caution you when choosing a mattress. Although I purchased one with the recommended specs, it fit too snug.I highly recommend this bed. I love my new bedroom.

I was quite impressed with the quality of this bed.It has a very stylish white-weathered wood look.This would fit perfectly well in any coastal or modern rustic/farm house look bedroom.I was also impressed with how solid and sturdy the bed is.It had easy to read, step-by-step instructions, and did not take long to put together.My only recommendation is that it be used with a mattress only or with a mattress and low profile box spring.The bed will sit too high with a traditional box spring like I used.Using a lower box spring really will show off the headboard portion of the bed.

Wow this bed is heavy and packed so well. The bed is solid wood and will definitely stand the test of time. I put it together myself and the directions were pretty clear. It looks fantastic in my beach house because the wood had a weathered whitegrey beachy look to it. This bed is definitely the focal point in the guest bedroom.

I was really impressed with the quality of this bed frame. It is really solid, and not made from particle board.The wood pieces are white with grey wood grain, and it looks really nice.However other pieces in the room where I am putting this bed has darker wood, so I did a darker wash using black acrylic paint over the boards to create a brownish grey color.Really easy to do and the results turned out great (I have included a photo of the white pieces and the piece that I washed). The bed frame was easy to assemble, but having a second person there at times is really important, it would have been a huge pain to assemble it just by myself.

The Mapleview solid wooden platform bed . Not only looks very nice.but was a snap to put together . It’s going to go great in my guest room . Had a paid attention to the weight of the bed . I think I would have paidextra and had someone put it together for me. But it all worked out . gorgeous bed and I just love it .

This bed is solid. I was not expecting this to be as strong and sturdy as it was. Also the installation instructions were so easy, I did it myself while my husband was at work.
