Charleigh Wallpaper

Ordered this wallpaper in taupe and wasn’t quite sure how the color would turn out.Generally, I think of taupe as being fairly warm/beige in undertone, but the picture on the website looked more gray.In person, it was definitely overwhelmingly gray in color, possibly with a slight bluish hue to it.That said, the picture doesn’t do the complexity justice. Though there is some linen crosshatch texture to it, more predominant are metallic ribbons of silver, and some of a slightly gold beige color.

It looks more glamorous in person than the picture would suggest.That said, I do think it will require some finagling to get things to line up appropriately when hanging.I have yet to head down that road, but will update my review when I do.It’s a heavy texture paper, which will hopefully make it easy to work with.

The yellow is shaded and lovely. It is a thick, well textured paper. Matching is a BEAR though.

Update…I added a photo of my kitchen installation to show the lovely shading in the yellow color.I am REALLY happy with how it turned out.The papers texture is a linen, and looks way more expensive than what I paid for it.It’s is a great medium weight, and I used a nonstaining heavy duty wallpaper paste , that worked wonderful.This is a woven paper, not just printed, so be careful cutting, or threads could fray.I like the paper so well, I’m ordering the blue for my laundry room!

I’ve hung a lot of wallpaper and this was by far the easiest I’ve ever hung! Incredible quality for the price. The texture is beautiful and mimics real grass cloth so you will see what appears to be the seam, even when it is completely flush. The color is stunning and just what I expected.

I bought this specifically to cover the kitchen island because the style is so old and re-doing the kitchen isn’t in the budget. This wallpaper is incredible! I really liked that I didn’t have to match patterns (really hard to do). This paper is easy to cut and hang. I used a spray adhesive because I wasn’t going up a wall. I’m impressed with how well it worked. I’ve used other wallpapers but this one was really good. As I wrote, it is heavy so the paper doesn’t tear as you are trimming it along the top and bottom. I would definitely buy this again. I also recommend using it for items other than a wall. It also helped the cabinet color tie into the floor (which I also can’t replace yet!).
