Although more expensive than a lot of pet gates, it is worth every penny. We put it at the bottom of our stairs and used a plastic tie to secure it to the stair rail on one side so our dog could not move it. It is one of the few gates we found that did not require drilling into the wall or pressure mount. It is great to have the door in the gate which is easy to open. We like that it looks so much nicer than a normal dog gate since it is in our foyer. I would give this 10 stars if I could.
