The base has a sturdy weight (30lbs) that is enough to hold a heavier umbrella, but is light enough to move easier for a woman. The bronze color & design looks very classy. I love it!

Sturdy. Just make sure you don’t tilt your umbrella. Otherwise, even a slight wind will blow it over. I ordered a base slightly heavier than recommended for our 9’ umbrella.
