Classically trimmed with fluted columns, the Crawford has a mantle depth of only 9.5″ making this piece perfect for smaller rooms or apartments. The VividFlame Electric Firebox mimics the look of a real fire but does not require a chimney or vents and plugs into a standard outlet for a convenient setup. Features include infrared LED technology, sleek touch controls, and dynamic glowing embers. Available in a chestnut oak, white or gray finish. Love this fireplace.I did a lot of research and eventually landed on this one.It is just like the picture and the slenderness of it makes the room look bigger.Be careful when putting it together though, don’t tighten as you go along – leave some brackets loose or else the higher you go up with the build (per the instructions) the pieces will now fit.If you do it correctly everything fits perfectly.
Pros: Great value, sleek finish
Cons: box is heavy, you will need 2 people to lift it

I debated buying this fireplace for months and the reviews finally convinced me.I’m so glad I bought this!I’ve always wanted a fireplace and this is the closest I’ll ever get in my current house.Setup was easy.Plenty of hardware and the instructions are great.It took me no more than 30 minutes by myself!The flames are so realistic, they’re mesmerizing.I added shiplap behind mine and wall mounted the TV.I couldn’t be happier with the way this has transformed my space!

I had my home appraised and it came back stating that I have a fireplace!Granted, it wasn’t turned but…THE APPRAISER THOUGHT MY FIREPLACE IS REAL

As most have referenced, this darned fireplace arrived in 2 boxes and bear more packaging and pieces than “that one” holiday gift you overnight to the Secret Santa you secretly can’t stand!
Each piece was labeled correctly and while most have deemed this a 2 person job, I had things finalized in just beneath an hour. In my defense, House Hunters was on and I’d downed a glass or two of vino beforehand. Haha!
Word from the wise: Tighten afterwards, NOT as you go!!!
As the screws connect and the wood secures, balancing the seams to alleviate imperfections (e.g. gaps) becomes all the more impossible.
The result however, is a professionally executed masterpiece with the most realistic flame ever, creating ambiance galore alongside heat that works wonders to generate balance for the cloudy climates wafted by way of Seattle’s notorious precipitation.

I ordered two of these for two different homes and was amazed how easy they were to assemble.There was a minimum of parts and every piece would “line up” perfectly in the assembly process.(One important note to remember is to initially loosely “tighten” the pieces.When the unit is assembled, then go back and completely tighten each piece.)I am also impressed with the amount of heat blown into the rooms.These fireplaces are simple and attractive additions which add much charm and coziness to the overall appearance of the guest rooms.The “slim” profile is a definite asset.

Looks great. Took a few hours to get set up but wasnt too bad. We love it. The flame is much nicer than others we have seen. It even hasa timer which we were unaware of. Nice feature.

I bought the fireplace for decoration in my living room. The heater does work decently well and I like that the display buttons show up when pressed but then disappear after a moment. It makes the fireplace look more realistic when running. And when you turn it off, the log color even gradually fades away.
When putting it together we had to loosen some screws to make one of the pieces from the mantle fit properly. But overall it was fairly easy to build and just needed to be wiped down to remove grease from the screws afterwards.
I would definitely recommend it to others.
