Works great. As others mentioned it is shiny but I don’t mind at all. For those who mentioned that it smelled bad – mine DID NOT :). When I first opened it there was a slight plastic odor, but then once I flattened it out it was gone in minutes. I really like it. For those who want to dress it up, I put fabric (could put wrapping paper or shelf paper too) under it to add design to my table.

Excellent table cover. I use it outdoors on my wicker dining set. No need for placemat. Itis heavy and won’t blow away like a tablecloth. I put a runner on the table and then this cover. It looks very nice. Plates and dishes can be moved around and placed anywhere on the table safely and the table is protected. Highly recommend!

The plastic lining seems to work well under table cloth.Was hoping I could use with placemats and I can just a bit shiny which is not surprise and some may like the look.Will definitely protect table and not plastic smelling which is important for dining purposes. Takes some time to flatten.
