The Prairie View Industries Singlefold Ramp is easy to set up the ramp. It features an edge-to-edge traction tape surface that makes it ideal for various scooters and wheelchairs. This ramp folds like a suitcase and is convenient to handle. Built with an anti-slip, high-traction surface, this ramp prevents skidding and slipping. 3x Safety factor tested, the Singlefold Ramp by Prairie View Industries is safe for use. The welded construction of this ramp makes it strong, sturdy, and enduring. It can easily bear a weight of up to 800 lbs. This ramp comes with a safety DVD and steel security pins.

The unit is well made, sturdy and stable. I am 170 lbs and use a Drive Euro Rollator, but I can see how the instructions notes a 800 lb capacity. The rollator is 23 inches wide and it feels stable on the 30 inch wide ramp. I bought the 4 ft ramp for two steps (total of ~12 inches high) from the living room to dining room, as the 5 ft would block one of the two entrances to the kitchen.This resulted in a slope of approximately 13 degrees, where a unoccupied chair is recommended. The unit folds and unfolds easily. The surface is covered with anti-slip skid resistant tape for maximum traction and I have no problems with slipping at all, and the unit folds up and carries like a briefcase. The upper lip at the top of the stairs feels secure and I did not install the pegs (or screws) to secure, though the instructions does not mention these and if they are required. If the picture uploads with the ramp and peg, you might note that some but not all house pets will use it. The unit arrived sooner than expected 🙂

Purchased both 2’ and 4’ ramps for my parents front door and porch steps. Ramps are sturdy and well made, but not too heavy for my 82 yr old mom to lift. They’re easy to set up and remove whenever my dad needs to leave the house now, whether he uses a walker or wheelchair.

This is a lightweight, easy-to-install ramp appropriate for entry to an opening 9-inches or less from the ground. Although appropriate for walking or moving a cart with boxes or items being stored in a shed, the angle may be a bit steep for a motorized item like a garden tractor or wheelchair – the 4-foot ramp would be more appropriate for such uses. The included safety pins are very effective but will likely necessitate installing the receptacles or “holes” into which the pins slip when inserted through the ramp lip.
