How to peel fruits and vegetables: Center the food on the bottom food holder and press gently; Lower the upper food holder so that it grasps the food and holds it securely; Using the height adjustment lever, raise the cutter arm so that it rests on top of food to be peeled. WARNING: Do not grab cutter blade… it is razor sharp! While pressing lightly on the upper food holder, press on the power button. The skin peels off in one clean, continuous curl.
How to remove peeled food: 1. Lift upper food holder from food and raise it to the top of the support column. 2. Grasp food, and using a gentle back and forth rocking motion, remove food from bottom food holder pulling towards you. 3.Don’t yank fruit or vegetables directly from the bottom shelf if you don’t want your hand to get hurt when it touches a blade.

I order the Electronic Fruit Peeler last Thursday and I received this Monday morning, for my surprise to find out it is battery operated instead of electric like it says. Came without the power cord!!!! . Instructions aren’t to clear but it’s simple to figure out, a small white piece fell out from the bottom of the peeler, at first I didn’t know what was but after I look many videos in youtube, I find one that explain that white plastic pointed part, is call little spike and that is for takeout the eyes inside the potatoes or sweet potatoes.

It came completely packaged where you couldnt see what it was and was easy to open. There was no plug or batteries you have to supply that yourself I didnt read that in the information anywhere so that is my fault. It was easy to use I popped in 4 AA batteries and put the apple on like it said and within a few seconds it was peeled and ready to eat!

When I received the Oukaning Electric Fruit Peeler I didn’t know what to expect, but when I tried it I was amazed that it worked. I am so glad I got this. I would recommend this to family and friends to buy it.

There are some pros and cons to this peeler. First, it requires no assembly out of the box. Second, it doesnt require as much pressure as some other peeling systems. Third, its fun! Fourth, there are spare peeling blades in the base of the unit, packed away discretely but in a place you wont lose them. Now the cons you might be able to tell from the photo, but the top and bottom of the potatoes were not peeled. I dont know if other fruits and veggies would fare better. Also, dont forget 4 AA like I did. And the onoff button is too close to the moving parts and is smooshed onto On when the arm is all the way down, so if you are done and removing the object, its going to try to keep going. Overall, I still like the unit – its fast!

Product works as described. Peels efficiently with little clean up. I also appreciate the extra parts stored within its base. My only complaint was that it takes 4 AA batteries and though here is a clear outlet for a power supply, none was provided with it. Outside of that, I could see this being hand on road trips or for a quick snack for the kids.

This would have got a 5 star but the power cord was missing. This is very easy to use. I was so excited to use it I tried using it with an apple and an orange and it worked perfectly. This is very convenient especially with kids.
