Motion sensor works great.We keep ours under a corner counter at the entrance to our kitchen and it never opens unexpectedly.Holds a decent amount in each side too, bags go in easily and are held in place very well.

Very happy with the purchase now I don’t have to have 2 garbage bin in my kitchen, the bin is very light and sturdy and the lid does actually open when you wave your hand over it so you have to be lifting the lid every time you go to put something in the trash and closes when your finished.

Pretty Cool!This trashcan looks nice and is very convenient.The lid only stays open a few seconds, which is great.But, if you do need it open for a longer period of time, you can push the “open” button and it will remain open until you push the “closed” button.No problem.(I saw other reviews that indicated the reviewer hadn’t found this feature yet)

The unit was way bigger than expected! Love the dual compartments! I can’t express how much I love the lid lift and shut sensory!!! Would buy again! The battery life concerned me at first. About 4 months in and I still have not had to change them.

I wanted a dual recycle bin and trash can for some time now.I had a regular trash can and blue bags on my door for recycle items. This makes my house look neater. My husband would never recycled, and Now he actually does it. I put the stickers on top so it’s easy to see for strangers. This trash takes 4 D batteries. I got some for a dollar at family dollar and they work pretty good and lasted almost 3 moths now.
Pros: Trash can is elegant and closes and opens with a hand wave or push of a button. It has a round smooth look and easy to clean. It is not heavy and easy to move. The stickers are so cute. My 13gal bags fit the 8 gal space fine with no issues just a little extra space. The bags do not show when the top part is put on.
Cons: Where do I find 8gal bags? Lol. There is a plastic split in between two small plastic parts, so you cant make it one trash can if you want. You put the bags over like a tiny plastic peice instead of a basket so it is hard to get the bag on. I thought the top was black for some reason and I didnt like it was not. It is a dark gray.
!!!Overall well worth the money and my husband recycles now lol!!!
