I wanted to get a set of stands for our Sonos speakers, but decided to get just one to check the quality first. While the item is advertised specifically for a Sonos, it is manufactured by Mount-It, which is an unrelated company. Just like cell phone cords and earbuds, sometimes an unrelated company puts out a good product, but sometimes you just end up wasting your money or dealing with the hassle of a return.
My first impression of the stand started with the unboxing. I was impressed with how the items were packed. Everything was carefully packed in its own custom designed foam packing. Its always a good sign when a company spends the time and money to ensure their package is packed in such a way that it wont get damaged during shipping and presents well upon opening.
My next observation was the weight of the pieces. There are only three pieces to the stand the base, the pole, and the piece the speaker sits on. Each piece is nice and weighty, especially the base, which is great because I dont want to use something that makes me worry about it tipping over and breaking my speakers.
Finally, I was very happy with the assembly of the base. The box comes with everything you need with the exception of a Phillips-head screwdriver. There are the three pieces of the base that are attached with five screws. Thats it. This is quite literally a five-minute assembly. Then I simply attached the speaker to the top, ran the cord down the back, which has a cord keeping niche, and then through the base. Thats all there is.
This product is fantastic and I will be ordering several more for all of the Sonos speakers in the house.

Works great! We use it out in the garage my husband is turning into his man cave. Forgive the current clutter, it’s a work in progress! It keeps the speaker up out of the way and from getting covered up with the usual garage clutter. I do wish it came in white to match the speaker.
