Simple and quick set up. Directions were clear and each part was well labeled. Tools were included to assemble the shelf. The material of the shelf boards are smooth and laminate but feel heavy duty. I put in my kitchen for extra storage. So far I have a pretty heavy bag of at least 15 pounds of rice and the shelf still feels sturdy. Once I put it together, the shelf was easy to move around the house. The shelf was packed well and had lots of cousin protecting it during delivery.

Pro tip: don’t be an idiot like me and make sure that when you’re putting the metal side pieces together that you have all of the holes for the X support on the same side ♀️
