I purchased this pillow in red and paired it with a yellow pillow. The heart pillow is beautiful rich in red color. It looks stunning on my purple sofa. The pillow looks better in person and does not look cheep at all.

I was hesitant to purchase this pillow based on the wildly opposing reviews. But I decided to go for it and am soooo happy that I did! I bought this pillow to complete the pillow arrangement on my daughter’s bed (I did a little redecorating while she’s away in college) and to add a pop of soft rose color to the mostly white decor. The pillow is a nice size, is well made and is definitely NOT scratchy as some other reviews stated. It’s also not a super soft, plush feel like a faux fur would be (so don’t expect that) but it does have a soft feel when you run your hand over the surface. The “shag” effect is achieved by gazillions of ribbon-like strands all over the front and sides of the pillow. The ribbon strands around the perimeter of the pillow are much longer (2-3 inches) than the strands on the front of the pillow (1/2 inch or so) which you can see clearly in one of the pics. The overall effect is very interesting and adds a nice textural element to the room. The back of the pillow is a soft velvet-like fabric (maybe it is velvet) with a zipper down the length of the pillow. I would definitely purchase this again in a different color if I ever need a heart shaped pillow somewhere else. Highly recommend.
