I am extremely happy with the new life that the Harrington stretch slipcovers have given to my high leg recliners.They were a green and cream pattern and now a beautiful burgundy.I was skeptical at first because this was my husband’s choice of color and I wanted boring cream, but glad that he won out!It took a little time to get them positioned correctly since there are no directions for placement on the chair, but with some tweaking they look exactly as pictured.I used some of those twisty upholstery pins on the backof the chair to take up the slack.Since my chairs have legs I couldn’t wrap the elastic around the leg and out of sight,so we turned the chair over and used a zip tie to attach the elastic ties together, under the footrest, for a snug fit.The material is soft and very stretchy and I would recommend these slip overs.

First off my rating of four is purely personal.The material is textured as stated in the name of the recliner slipcover. I have a cat with claws.The textured fabric catches claws more easily than a solid fabric.So beware if you have pets with claws.Go with smoother fabric.The slipcovers meet my expectations on quality of product.

At first, I thought how is this going to fit?We needed to cover a worn out Lazy-Boy with a barrel back, so wider on top.The cover was able to stretch across the top no problem, and the fact you can still recline with the cover on is fantastic.Also, our cat loves the soft fabric!
