Description
Asian inspiration meets contemporary design in this stylish 67″ floor lamp. Crafted of steel in a satin silver finish, this lamp’s body strikes a rod-shaped silhouette, while a walnut-finished wood block base provides balance and stability. A tall, oval-shaped, white rice paper lantern shade ensconces most of the lamp, diffusing bright light throughout your space. Operated by a Footswitch, this unit accommodates three 100 W incandescent bulbs (not included).

This lamp is lovely and sturdy. As Montana winter begins, I needed a lamp in my home office, to add plenty of “daylight” feeling light, and this lamp delivers! In addition to making the space more cheery, it also helps with my work editing photos as a photographer – it’s best to do my editing in consistent, diffused light that looks close to daylight. The bulb placement spreads the light beautifully, as does the paper shade. Additionally, it’s one of the most sturdy lamps of this type that I’ve seen in some time. The base is heavy and contemporary, and the lamp stands perfectly upright once assembled. (I’ve had far too many lamps that lean or tilt or seem otherwise precarious after installation.) The foot switch is great. The only feature I wish it had (that it doesn’t) would be a dimmer function – if it had that, I’d buy one more for our home use, since we don’t always want “brightest” light in the way I prefer for my office!
