This candle is so elegant looking and it smells delicious. The scent is very strong (in a good way) so I’ve left the lid off a while to fill the room with the scent without lighting it. Once you light it, the directions say to burn it 4hrs 1st then only for 2 hour increments. I believe it. Only wish the lid had a rubber seal/gripper so the lid doesn’t just fall off. I think the jar is reusable worthy too, it’s very pretty, like a jewel in the room. I can’t wait to try the other scents.

This is my fourth La Jolie Muse candle. I am in love with how beautiful the glass etching is on the jars. The crackling wood wicks, and the long burn time. This candle, I feel, can be burned all winter long due to the lovely scent! It has top notes of pepper, aromatic, and aldehydic middle notes of cedarwood and patchouli bottom notes of balsam fir and smoky. A perfect winter scent while you’re cozy under a blanket, reading, and drinking coffee or hot cocoa.
