A smaller than I realized. I purchased it to cover 2 chairs and a small table that is a smoking area in my yard. Its slightly too small but 9′ would have been too large.My mistake. It is as described the solar lights can be turned off from a switch on the top of the under side of the umbrella

Was open box but arrived in perfect condition. Have the umbrella assembled in a stand. Have not used the lights yet but will update my review when I do. It was such a bargain the size is perfect for the deck outside our master bedroom. The umbrella fits securely in a stand umbrella base. The color of the umbrella is as pictured.
