I absolutely love this awning so I bought more for my other windows in the back of my house which has a lot of sun. I bought the first one to cover my side door. It is very stylish and looks very elegant. I really like the iron side poles because it adds a little class to it. I bought them in black. I do not have a lot of wind on the side of my house so I have not had a problem but i will take them down in the winter. The cloth you can wipe down or hose lightly if you need to. I would not scrub or use anything too powerful to clean them though. I have had neighbors ask where I got them and they have said it looked very nice on the house and adds a little something to a flat surface.

These awning are great quality and block the harsh sun from my windows but still allow me to see perfectly through the lower two thirds of the window.And I am saving on my air conditioning because they are blocking the sun and heat that comes with the southern exposure.They they look very sharp on the outside.

Awning looks great and was easy to install. I did end up dropping the support arms down from 36” to 48” in order to provide even more shade. I’m sure this wouldn’t be possible if the retractable cord is also added, but I didn’t see a need to use it.

Very nice awning and a good price.These awnings look great.We ordered black and live in AZ, so brutal sun.We bought some Scotchguard sun protection spray that is water repellant and gave them a good spray before putting them up to help with fading.We had a bad monsoon and the water rolled right off and they stayed intact despite high winds.Very happy so far.
