Just arrived in the mail, but not installed yet. The tiles are a shiny silver but not over the top. Wire that hangs from the ceiling is clear plastic with metal inside. We will be hanging these next to our bed in the master in lieu of bedside table lamps.
Update — they are installed and we love them. They make nice mood lighting with just them on and complement the overhead light when both are on. We get tons of compliments on these.
