I am here to solve the color mystery of the Turquoise Velvet couch!
First, it is NOT an emerald green like most of the photos show. But it is a gorgeous color regardless, as long as you’re not set on emerald green specifically. It’s even named “turquoise velvet” so I don’t understand why the photos were color corrected to a green tone.
My photo collage shows the most common lighting situations the left is the true color in indirect daylight and the right is the true color in a warm indoor light. I’m a photo editor and a big part of that is color correcting, so you can trust my edits. So the lighting chart included is also incorrect.
I haven’t assembled the couch yet, so I can’t comment on sturdiness but it came undamaged at first inspection! The seat cushions feel firm with some bounciness to them and the velvet is super soft. I’ll add photos once it’s in my new apartment next month.

PS My hair color has the exact same color variations depending on the lighting, it’s so weird! It also matches the couch spot on as you can see in the other photo. hahaha

the color is in no way what I expected based on the website and even this picture doesn’t capture the peacock shade accurately but this couch is stunning and comfortable and easy to assemble and I’m not mad the color is off so it’s still five stars from me!

I am absolutely in love with this couch. Perfect size for an apartment and it is also very comfortable. Color is even better in person and it is firm but comfortable. Assembly was pretty easy with two people but honestly even just one person can put it together pretty easily.

The sofa is absolutely gorgeous.Exactly what we needed for our guest room.Assembly took less than an hour with 2 people.Very comfortable and stylish.Had some trouble engaging mechanism to keep sofa back up.Hopefully it doesn’t prove difficult in the future.

Love this couch! The color is great, so soft and was able to put it together by myself. The only thing was it comes in one box. Luckily it was delivered before my moving day to my new apt. If not I wouldn’t have been able to get the box up to my apt without assistance

 The second picture with the sofa upright is the correct color. It is really a beautiful almost navy. The fabric is very soft. It is a little stiff but I think that it will will become more comfortable with use. It is very easy to lay down to the bed position. A great buy for the price.
