Great little bench. Super sturdy and solid, even though it looks rather small. The bamboo has a nice non-splintery finish coat. Just as pictured, the shelves underneath are the perfect size for shoes and boots. You could also put a small basket on the boot shelf instead. It was a little tricky to put together – if you fully tighten up the legs too soon, some of the screw holes don’t line up nicely towards the end. I’d recommend putting it all together, but keeping all the screws a bit loose until it’s fully assembled, then go around and fully tighten them all down. The instructions it came with weren’t very good, but it’s a simple enough bench to figure out.

What a sturdy little gem. I have this by my back door to put shoes on and take off. Love the shoe storage. When assembling, do not tighten the screws all the way until fully assembled, read the directions, easy assembly. Every hole lined up perfectly. Love this puchase, and reasonably priced.
