I am very fussy on table coverings, generally I prefer either a runner or simple placemats. However I purchased this for Thanksgiving, it looked nice and a subtle match for my dining chairs (which are wood and black and white).I was beyond pleasantly surprised (for the price too I might add). It is a beautiful linen blend, a bit heavy w/substance and the stitching and border are much more lovely in person compared to the site. I recommend.
