These nightstands are a great addition to my bedroom and I love the mid century modern look. They are not solid wood, but rather laminated wood. Still good quality though. Assembly is pretty easy once you realize how it should go together. The instructions for the A & B pieces don’t say anything about which way the pieces should be attached to the D sides. Ultimately, there are 2 holes on the long side of A & B that you want to be facing down and to the front of the stand. Once you put the drawers in, you’ll then insert the small wooden dowels (the inventory list also says there are 8 wooden dowels but only 4 are in the bag…the other 4 are already in the B piece) in each of those holes to prevent the drawer from falling out or sliding through the back of the unit. Overall I would recommend if you’re wanting a less expensive nightstand.
