The cover material is not especially thick, but all the seams are sealed and the underside is coated so it should be very weatherproof. The ends also have a great vent pocket for air circulation without getting water underneath. The size of the cover ended up being a little bigger than my table with the chairs partially tucked under, but it will still work.
