I gave this 5 stars because it is “just what I need.” It’s pretty, comfortable for short sittings, and compact. I have a vintage desk that was really hard to match to a chair, but this one fits in perfectly. The green color is deep and gorgeous, and so far easy to clean. If I had to sit in this for 8 hours, I think I would be uncomfortable. But for 1-2 hours at a time, it’s perfect.

I chose this chair more for the color and its appearance structure wide to match the area where I sat up my home office. However, it proved to be so much more! Firstly, the photo on the Wayfair site is quite accurate as to color. It is a soft dusty rose shade that matches my room color perfectly. The upholstery is velvety and quite attractive as is the gold tone base. I ultimately found the chair to be quite comfortable too. Initially it seemed to be too stiff. However, after a few days using it, I found that it actually was forcing me to sit properly since Id had such a crummy chair previously! Also, assembly was quite simple and the chair is very sturdy too as it supports one of the higher weight limits if it is needed (up to 265 lbs.). I truly recommend this chair. You get a lot of bang for your buck — a practical sturdy chair that makes a great decor statement as well!
