Description
The Handy Post Double mailbox post sleeve is constructed of maintenance-free and durable PVC (vinyl). It is designed to fit over an existing or new 4×4 (actual 3.5×3.5) wood post or can fit over many no-dig supports of similar dimensions. If your mailboxes are secured to any type of wood 4×4 configuration, you can modify the height to 52 inches or less to accept the Handy Post Double. The Handy Post Double is designed to accommodate two different mailboxes on one post. Each arm extends out 13.5 inches and will accommodate up to 50 lbs with no sag. This aesthetically pleasing, economical product will enhance any home, business or neighborhood property. The Handy Post Double will add character to any setting. Conveniently packaged with stainless steel hardware and installation instructions included.

This year my neighbor and I had agreed to share a mail box post since we were considered the red headed step children in our court and a lot of times didn’t get our mail… apparently we didn’t fit the rules and regulations of postal delivery. They require 15 feet on either side of the mailbox so now the have and I can finally part in front of my house instead of down the street. Anyway this product is as described and of pretty good quality, however we did do a few mods to further improve on strength of the cross (horizontal) piece. We added 4x4s and other wood inside to increase mounting stability along with bookshelf brackets on the out both of which added together for a good solid mount. …. You know how the mail carriers treat your box. The included pictures will show how we did the mounting overall very happy with this product and would buy again.
