Great lamp.After I received the first one, I turned around a bought a second.It’s very sturdy, with a much heavier base than I expected, and I appreciate having the light higher up over my shoulder rather than right next to me, as it cuts down on glare.Also, not having a traditional table lamp leaves much more room on my side table for my “stuff.”

It was very easy to assemble and is sturdy. The cord comes out of the side of the base so it sits flat on the floor. The shade allows enough light to light the room, while focusing the majority of it downward making it a perfect reading lamp.

Our new lamp arrived on the schedule and was quite easy to put together. It looks beautiful, although I wish that the 3-way bulb could be an LED bulb. I understand incandescent bulbs are being phased out soon, so then if I use LED bulbs, they can’t be 3-way!
