I purchased this canopy to use as a patio cover. I had previously purchased one and wanted more shade from the San Diego sun.
The quality is good and the price too. It delivers very good shade and the plexiglass panels are ash to keep clean with just soap and water and a soft brush. For safety it is better to anchor it to the ground.

Although this is a pricey carport, it is attractive, well made and was assembled by me (the owner) with little assistance and no significant problems. The instructions were clear, parts fitted together well, and the finished product seems robust and is clearly as represented on the website. I recommend it to others.
One observation, the foundation recommended in the instructions is probably engineered for hurricane or tornado country, it I appears to be far more than needed for unexposed locations here in California or most places. Also, if you followed the foundation recommendations it would preclude adjusting the location of the carport. the manufacturer maybe could provide some flexibility in guidance for the foundation based on location and weather factors.

I downloaded the instructions ahead of time and poured the footings for the columns a couple of weeks before the cover arrived. The cover was delivered right on my front porch on schedule. No one called ahead of time like they promised, but it was OK as it was sitting right on my front porch when I got home.
The instructions were a breeze to follow (of course I studied them ahead of time) and I did 90% of the assembly by my self. Actually the only thing I needed help with was to move the assembled structure into it’s final position and to do the final plumbing and leveling. But I’m 6’2″ with lots of ingenuity. Total assembly time took less than a day.
Pros: Easy to assemble. Sturdy. Provides shade while allowing light through.
Cons: There were a couple of bent metal channels … probably from shipping, but they were simple enough to bend back into place.
