This was the third board I bought to replace a very, very old board from the 40’s. First was the same kind but wider. Didn’t work on pants. Second one was so light my cat jumped on the board in front of the TV and knocked the board over. Iron into TV. No more TV. Third time was the charm. Heavy enough put narrow enough to do pants. I love it.

The New York Times Wirecutter recommended this board, and it is certainly the best board I’ve used. Not to mention their customer service is great. I received a board and about two months after using it, I noticed a slight defect. I emailed and about two days later I found a brand new board at my door. I didn’t request a new board, nor did I expect one but here I am. Besides the customer service, the board is very flat, the fabric is taught, it is sturdy, and the board is wide. The iron stand is a great addition as well. The price is great, especially when on sale. I can’t recommend enough.
