It arrived nicely packaged in a shipping box, and in its own box. The instructions have a good template, including both right hand and left hand installation. Some steps seem to be missing in the instructions, also it’s not clear how to allign the template, to the bottom of the door jamb/frame or to the lowest part of the frame that is recessed.

This automatic door closer was a real find for us. We live close to the beach and the wind coming off the ocean can be quite powerful at times. Opening the doors sometimes resulted in a violent slam against the outside wall. Our new balcony doors were already fitted with brushed nickel hardware from the same Wayfair vendor so we opted to try their door closer. It’s perfect and really takes the stress out of venturing outside on windy days. Thank you again, Wayfair!
