We purchased these bowls and matching dinner plates. I absolutely LOVE them. We have had them around 6 months and have had no discolouration/staining etc. We use them in the microwave and run them through the dishwasher.
I especially love the pottery vibe it gives off because the shape of the lip of the bowls are sort of irregular. They’re a really nice weight – not flimsy like other melamine plates and the design is part of the plate itself vs others that start peeling after a lot of use.

I have stone floors.Anything that drops shatters, even Corelle.But Melamine is most durable material I know and perfect for my kitchen.AND I love the mid-century vibe.
