Wow! I just got my YBM Home Lama Lux Professional Wide Steel Mesh Top Ironing Board With Solid Steam Iron Rest And Cotton Cover and boy am I impressed. I have not seen anything this heavy duty since my Grandma’s house, and I am an old lady myself! The Home Lama Lux Professional Ironing board has many amazing features as well as being very solidly constructed and noticeablymre heavy duty than ironing boards you normally see in the stores these days. As you can see in the photos it is 55 inches long, this includes the shelf stand for your iron. The Lama Lux ironing board is 15 inches wide and 48 inches long, which makes it practical and comfortable to iron on. The Height is adjustable from 29-inch to 36-inch. The cover it comes with is amazing, three parts, the outer smooth glide fabrix with the elastic ends and under that are not one but two heat pads.The EXTRA WIDE IRON PLATFORMironing surface offers 15 x 48 inches which is far roomier than the one I used to have. The YBM Home Lama Lux Professional Wide Steel Mesh Top Ironing Board With Solid Steam Iron Rest And Cotton Cover is the best ironing board I have ever owned you will love it.

How can an ironing be great This one is.
I iron the shirts, my husband irons the slacks. We both love this new board. Great improvements over standard boards and worth it. Here is how
Easy and quiet to open and close.
The pointed end is wider and not super pointy, which means more space to iron the spots you thread on the end of the board.
It leaves no strange indents from the board under the pad on your clothes!
You can hang ironed shirts on the iron holder out of the way as you work.

Heavy duty, professional quality ironing board! The pad is much thicker than found on your typical department store ironing board which makes ironing easier and more professional looking! The opening and closing mechanisms are of heavy duty quality constructed materials and operate smoothly! If I were to change anything, it would be to make the top of the board more pointed than blunt but this certainly is not a game changer! We love it! Thank you Wayfair!

This is not your grandmother’s ironing board! This is exactly as described, large snd heavy duty. The pink cover is also very nice. I can’t wait to use it but realized that I would also like a new iron to go with it. I think the size will help shorten ironing time since you can iron twice ( if not more) the square inches of the garment or fabric. Thanks WF!
