This trunk is stunning! It definitely has the old world feel to it that can fit within any style of home. It has the slow closing hinges which is perfect for small child. I was looking for the perfect trunk to fit my livingroom as a coffee table to store the bedding for our pull out sofa when our little company comes over. This was perfect as my condo is oddly shaped and makes for arranging furniture fun. I would highly recommend. My only suggestion is do your research. I did not realize this was an Ashley Signature item. They have it listed on their website as the Kettleby Storage Trunk going for 249.99. Giving that I just bought my furniture through them I could of used a special promo discount plus there daily percent savings and saved a lot more. Instead I paid 256.99.
