the Whitehall deluxe mailbox post looks great – note for installation, you will need a 4x4x48 pressure treated wood post, but easy enough to get at a home center store.Installation was quick and it is super sturdy.Would recommend.

Two weeks after I installed someone hit the box portion and it ripped off the post. Surprisingly, the three screws were ripped out of the post but I was able to thread them back on. The box itself was almost completely undamaged. I think the door opens a few degrees more than it use to and the paint is scuffed on the corners but no real damage. I guarantee the car was damaged more.
