Had to buy the post since I earlier purchased a mailbox that was not compatible with the post I had in the ground.The description of the mailbox doesn’t inform you that it needs a post made by the same company.

The post and accessories were really easy to install. The instructions clearly detailed the various steps. My wife & I had this setup in no time. The mailbox itself isn’t going anywhere now. The mailbox and post could probably withstand a tornado and still last. Not only is it decorative and contemporary, but it is extremely solid and durable.
