Let me tell you about these nightstands.I want to start off by saying, these nightstands are very pretty, once the 6 hour assembly is complete.These nightstands straight up hurt my feelings, my pride and took some of my dignity.During assembly, I cried, I laughed, I got mad and then happy again.They almost went in the garbage a few times.When I got my composure back together, I finished one.I celebrated.Then I had to start the other one.It defeated me at first, even started having flashbacks.Then I said, get yourself together sister, you got this.I made a victory lap around my house when the last drawer went in.I felt like Rocky Balboa.They are finished now and sitting beautifully in my guest bedroom.I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at them again.Maybe I will, time will tell.I say all of this to tell you, PAY FOR THE EXTRA ASSEMBLY!Don’t be like me, don’t be a hero to save a little extra cash.Just do it.

These are so heavy duty and well worth the price! I drilled small holes in the back of that top open shelf so we could string our phone chargers into it! You could also just nail the backboard lower than directed so you have a gap for your wires. The tracks are nice and smooth and give them a high end feel. They happen to match perfectly with the wood panel wall I just built too!

I really enjoy these stands. They were simple to assemble. One of the nightstands had quite a few scuffs on the melamine surface, but somehow they all ended up being on the internal side of the piece so I can’t see a single one of them – crazy lucky. The height is nice in that it’s right below the surface of the bed top, makes it easy to grab things off of it, etc. The storage is very nice to have bedside. Definitely recommend!
Edit: Make sure to use coasters, the melamine surface has bubbled on the top due to condensation from a glass. Since there is a wood texture you don’t notice it unless you’re looking for it, but I’m sure on one of the solid color stands it would be very obvious.

After scouring the internet for something similar but taller, we purchased this in knotty oak and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality – the materials are sturdy. The color is exactly what I was looking for: it isn’t rich, but also isn’t gray. The backing is thin enough that you could open up a hole to pull cords through for charging. For reference, our bed is the Honeycutt Upholstered Low Profile Standard Bed
Assembly was clear and easy. If you have a power drill, the assembly will go much faster. For anyone out there like me, make sure you use the parts exactly as labeled (A-D, B-C, etc. that are labeled on the bottom of the parts).

Shipping was super fast – ordered on Friday and they were delivered on Saturday. They are great, the size is perfect and they look so good. However, the instructions were really intimidatingsort of confusing, and it took about 2 hours to put each one together.
