Additionally, you risk damaging your floor, pets, and children by hanging stockings from those traditional fireplace stocking holders that hold barely any weight. The adjustable Stocking Holder fits fireplace mantles up to 8.5 in. thick (using the included extension rod) and comes with 2 hooks per Holder to accommodate both hanging stockings and hanging fireplace garlands from the same Stocking Holder. The cantilever design allows it to fit most mantle styles/designs and ensures that even a full stocking won’t pull down your Stocking Holder, protecting everything down below from the damage that a falling hanger would cause. These stockings hooks are perfect for my 8” wide custom mantle and will hold several pounds of Santa’s goodies. I preferred to hang stockings from the garland hook instead of bottom hooks.

Great quality and finish – didn’t work for me, make sure you measure how much “depth”/”lip” you have to work with. If it would have fit, I would have loved it.

Super easy to use. Note that the “gold” is more of a bronze gold. Also I wish there was a size between the two provided. My mantle is *just* thick enough that I had to switch to the longer hook.

I received this on 06/23. I won’t be using it until December. I tried it on my mantle and the long hook works better. It was very easy to chance from the short to the long one. It seems very well made and strong.
