Description
Our Terra-Cotta barrels are the perfect color to match your terra-cotta planters and hanging pots. The color blends in well with red brick homes. Heavy Duty Screening keeps mosquitoes out. Our rainbarrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rainbarrels are repurposed from pre-used overseas food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rainbarrels are made of High Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will disspiate after a few full barrel filling cycles. We use a PH balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. These barrels keep difficult to break down plastics from adding bulk to landfills and also contain and repurpose stormwater.

This is the top rated water barrel if you check the ratings. It shipped exactly as described and was easy to set up. The spout at the bottom is the only way to go as you can use all the water – simply place on a booster or some bricks. As was used as a pickle container, it’s a recycled product and completely food safe – those with brass spigots are not. Perfect for watering vegetable gardens. We have 4 set up around the yard off of the house & the greenhouse, we are on a well so this provides plenty of water for our gardens and back up for household use. The top comes off just like a jar so simple and easy to clean/empty for winter. Working great!

This rain barrel was easy to set up and is working wonderfully!The terra cotta color is perfect.I placed it on cinderblocks to create water pressure for water flow.A hose can easily be attached, or you can place a watering can underneath the spigot.I am using this in our school garden to teach about conservation and irrigation.

Perfect! Exactly what I expected. I built a brick stand for it so it sits high enough to put a watering jar underneath the tap. It smells like pickles so I know the plastic is food grade. The mesh on the top seems it should last. I liked it so much that I ordered another one.

My barrel arrived today and it is everything it was promised to be.It is a beautiful orange color and in very good condition.I will be purchasing a diverter to hook up to my downspout but for now it is catching a small amount of water via the 3 holes on the top.I am very pleased with this barrel!

These came quickly, were robust, and they look great! I like the built-in mesh.Our rain spigots pour right into them, and the mesh takes out 90% of the debris.At the end of the season, we’ll tip them over, rinse them out, and store them upside down. The mesh should then keep the critters out too!

Great Rain Barrel.Had a problem with the first Barrel.Wayfair replaced it immediately.Works great.My back yard slopes away from the house.I ran a hose to the garden.Attached a springer.There is enough pressure for it oscillate back and forth!Will probably attach a soaker hose to slowly water the garden.
