In a nutshell, I’m very pleased with this purchase. I found it to have a high quality-to-price ratio so to speak.It is sturdy, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.I have three cats — large, medium, and small — and all three use it however the new little kitten certainly loves it the most.He’s like a little toddler at a McDonald’s playground and seems to view it as his castle. LOL. Wished I could have uploaded a video.
Advice for setup and assembly.
1. Since there are no written directions, merely diagrams, I suggest reading through ALL of the diagrammatic instructions BEFORE starting assembly.It was pretty straightforward for me, but I did have to stop and take a pause at moments,, think a bit, before proceeding.But on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of difficulty of assembly, I would give it a 2 or at most a 3. No tools are required and everything needed to assemble it is included (basically an included Allen wrench).
2. Remember, to keep the price and the weight down, this is made out of pressboard, plastic, and cardboard.Do NOT over tighten the bolts!Snug absolutely, but if you overtighten you will rip out the glued-on plastic inserts inside the cardboard poles and/or the threads in the pressboard platforms.If you find yourself struggling to turn the Allen wrench, you’re probably tightening too much.
Lastly, shipping was amazingly fast for free-shipping.This was my first Wayfair purchase and I’m certainly a fan now.

My cat honestly loves this new play area! The directions were pretty easy to follow. A part of me wish it came with written instructions especially when it came to putting the leaning scratch board on but I figured it out with the pictures. I hope it lasts a long time!!
