Features
The Ark of the Covenant is a gold-covered wooden chest described in the Book of Exodus as containing the two stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. According to various texts within the Hebrew Bible, it also contained Aaron’s rod and a pot of manna.
This is a religious reproduction of the Ark beautifully made with resin, hand-painted in a matte gold finish. I am very happy with this purchase!Although in the picture it appears to be made of metal,I read enough reviews to understand it is actually gold-painted on resin.If it accidentally gets dropped on a hard surface, it is likely to crack and/or break but otherwise, it is lovely. The inside is lined with a black velvet-like fabric and I’ve had no problems with it shedding.
