I love this little salt box. You can never tell how much salt your using with a shaker, but this gets you a pinch that you can see.

I had to think about the use of this and will it make it easier while cooking. Well it sure did. I usually have to stop and wash to then add spices but this for my salt and pepper is a joy. I had the box opened prior to cooking and small spoons in each. When time to add,it was so easy. I have a larger round one for many spices but wanted something for just salt and pepper. I bought organic pepper freshly corse ground from a local store as well as a corse salt. I use this at dinner time as well. We love pepper and even Mills just don’t give enough. This is ideal and it does fit on the back of my stove, but I have it on my counter. I love natural woods.
