The Swing ‘n’ Slide set is great… but the screws and bolts are hard to identify. They come in many plastic bags with numbers on the bags that do not correlate to anything. The instructions clearly indicate the size… which can be determined using a MEASURING TAPE. Lots of leftover screws and bolts, but I guess that is better than not enough. (more fodder for the “junk drawer”!)
Also 4 blocks of labeled unstained wood left over. Not identified in the instructions anywhere. 2@ PF6083 (1-1/2″×2-1/4″×10″) and 2@ PF6087 (2-3/8″×2-3/8″×3-3/4″)

Honestly I think for the price, this swing set is great. We have had it for a year now and don’t regret the purchase. The kids have fun on it and it was fairly easy to put together.

We ordered this after having had the Ranger Swing Set for a year, so our kids have loved the Swing Set portion for a year, and adding the slide just takes it up a level and they’re just overjoyed to be able to swing and slide in our backyard.
This is a nice size swing set for our kids (ages 4 and 1), and it should last them a few years at least BUT if your kids are older, you should probably look for a larger swing set. Our four year old hits has to be careful not to hit her head climbing up into the slide section, and the swings/trapeze are pretty close together (if you zoom in on the picture you can see how close they are from the black pieces on the top that cover the screws). There is not space to play under the deck area—it’s only a few feet high so not even our four year old can play under it. The slide is a nice height that I imagine will continue to be enjoyable for some time, but it’s not huge, by any means.
It’s ideal for young kids in a small yard, which is what we have.
That said: the construction definitely took longer than the estimated time, though one person can put the swing set together alone. It comes in three boxes — one very long box is the swing set, one flat box is the add on portion (ladder, deck, canopy, and the thickest box is the slide). The box with the slide contains directions for installing the slide to any swing set. You will want to ignore those directions and just use the directions in the other boxes. The slide directions say that you are missing a piece that is included in the add on. Ignoring these directions will save you a trip to the hardware store.
We also ordered a separate accessories set with a steering wheel, telescope, and telephone that we were able to add onto this swing set and those were a great addition (though that was another brand—Eastern something).
