Excellent communication with shipper. Delivered within a 3 hour window and called to notify when 30 minutes away. Delivered to garage door in one box (requires 2 people to lift). Assembled easily by 1 person in 3 12 hours. The pergola is extremely sturdy in 25 mph wind without footings! The curved corner braces further square and stabilize the pergola. I was a bit concerned about rust but this unit is Aluminum so I expect it to last. It is light enough to move (with 4 people once assembled). Provides a ton of shade and the awning adjusts for more or less throughout the day. Love it!

This is a beautiful pergola!! It was pretty simple to put together, if you are good at these kinds of projects. It took my husband and I just a couple of hours to get it all set up. As you will see in the pictures, it doesnt have the bases on the legs yet as we are finishing our deck and moving it to mount it at that point. Even without the bases, it is sturdy. The canopy cover on top is actually attached to guiderails so that it wont flutter in the wind. It makes it easy to adjust to either side as well! My only two disappointments were that the main legs do scratch up pretty easily, as seen in the photo, and the cover is a bit thinner than expected. Even still, we love this new piece for our backyard!!

Relatively easy to put together for two people. Looks great, provides just enough shade, and also withstood 60mph winds today still standing. Definitely recommend, especially for the price point.

It was very easy to assemble and we love the fact that it offers not only shade – but a little privacy. The only thing we would point out is that you need to pay attention to the placement of the posts so the side that is open is facing the direction you want. We made a mistake with that and you’d have disassemble and reassemble if it’s not facing the right direction.

I’m really happy with my purchase of this pergola! It came a few days earlier than expected. We saw a few minor dents, but nothing I continue to notice in using it. I had a blast putting it together with my friend; took us 4 or so hours, chatting all along the way. It’s quite sturdy, and we didn’t see the need to anchor to my concrete patio. Even with some winds that blew all the patio furniture off the pad, the pergola stayed strong. The shade is also of good quality, good thickness and a gentle shade as I wanted. (See pics for “gentle shade”.) The pins that hold the sliding rods for the shade are only at the very top or very bottom of the frame, but the shade stays in place wherever you put it. We love this pergola. We read all the previous reviews and saw that it was fairly easy to put together and liked the idea of the metal frame. My husband and I put it together in about 4 hours. It was easy to follow the directions. It helps if you have a drill to tighten all of the screws – it helps it go faster. We hand screwed first and then finished by tightening with the drill. We really love the look – it looks even better in person! Highly recommend.

Love this pergola.All pieces come clearly marked. Takes 2 people several hours to put together and well worth the time. Sturdy, quality construction and large enough for table seating 4-6 people underneath. Shade screen can be adjusted both directions for shade on a sunny day or privacy from neighbors. Perfect entertaining space or for just relaxing outside.

Love the look!Most parts of the pergola were in good shape, some small dents on some pieces but nothing major.It took my husband, myself andfriend about 2.5 hrs to build.The only annoying thing is the middle sort of sinks in a bit, not sure if you can tell by the pictures.Also, the posts only had 2 holes, but instructions show 4 (as many others have stated).All in all, I am happy with my choice.We get slammed with the sun on our deck, so this makes it SO much better to hang out back there.I push the bars all the way up at night, and roll up the other side with clips (as seen in pictures) for when the wind gets to be too much.We did screw it to the deck, but if I do not clip the canopy, it goes a little crazy in heavy winds.This helps alot!

I was surprised at how well everything was packed in one box.The directions were super easy to follow(only had one part that wasn’t clearly written, but we caught it) My husband and I had the whole thing put together in two and a half hours! It is very sturdy and a nice addition to our yard. The fabric piece is darker than pictures but was not a deal breaker for us just note that it is more of a tan/brown color not white. We are not able to drill it into the concrete so we plan to make a plywood base to attach it to and weight it down with planters. Also if high winds are in the forecast we will just take the canopy off as it will be only 4 screws and slide the canopy off.

I love this pergola. It has a very modern aesthetic but is still very traditional too – making it the perfect transitional piece for my 1940s home. Quality wise the pieces were all well made – sturdy but light – and went together perfectly. The wood effect on the posts is convincingly real. Wish the beams had the same effect! The shipping packaging was done well. It came in one giant box wrapped in a thick plastic. Inside all the pieces were well wrapped in individual plastic. That said, there were a few pieces that had minor nicks to them. Nothing major though. All together this took myself and one other about 4.5 hours to put together. It would have been about an hour less if we hadn’t made a few mistakes with beam caps and not getting washers right… so look very closely at instructions and be sure you follow order exactly. But overall this is a lovely, high quality, pergola that would fit well in any space – aesthetic.
